Halftime performance

As I was trying to video these, Jax was climbing all over me. Curtis Hardy kept trying to stick his fat head in my way, while he is calling me "Nurse Kratchet". On top of that I thought I could turn my camera sideways to get a better picture but... I am unable to flip the video. So you have to crane your neckto watch, and ignore all my background comments, so sorry. All i can say is my girl is amazing.

Jaden is amazing with the cheer stunts she does. Feel fun to watch but very frightening. I have recorded all of her performances on my video camera that I can't find the software for to upload the pix. Soon I will have them and add them also.

Lunch with the Girls

Annilee flew in from Vegas for the Holidays and was kind enough to plan a lunch date for all the girls. It was so good to see everyone. With kids and family and the busy time of the holidays it means so much that everyone could take a few hours in their busy schedule to catch up.





When I returned from our lunch, I came home to find that Sadie had a little fun of her own, with my Christmas tree. We cleaned it up, three times. Everytime I left the room that day she would knock it over. I guess she was mad I didn't take her with us to Logan.

Josh's Christmas Party

Josh had his christmas school party and asked me to come help. The kids had games, treats and a white elephant gift exchange. Josh received a piston. Koltyn was 'lucky' enough to get Josh's gift which included a dog pee pad, a little swimmer two sticks of dog jerky and a cheese dog treat. I took Jaden's chocolate fountain for the kids to use and it was a big hit. I let Jaden miss school and come help, bad idea, b the end she was drinking the chocolate out of the cup!

Christmas Newsletter

If everyone truly knows me they know that I am awful at getting out Christmas cards. It is not for a lack of effort, that I would like everyone to remember. My 'trials' started many years ago (ok maybe like 10 years ago). The first year I made or bought cards, didn't do anything to them. The following year made them and wrote in them, nothing else. The following year, I made them wrote in them, addressed them and did nothing more. The following year, I think I bought them, wrote in them, addressed them, stamped them and... you guessed it, I never mailed them. I think I honestly gave up for a while after that. So, this is my proof that I am attempting a valid effort. I apologize now if you do not actually get a hard copy of this in the mail

Friends

Have I mentioned how much I love my friends, I do. I think Destiny knows I cannot function without my sister within arms reach so she takes over that role.

Darwin and Destiny had a X-mas party for the shop guys but because they love us so much, they invited us too. They won't be there for the official Hunzeker bash so they decided to have one of their own. Games, prizes, laughs, good food and great friends. Now all I need is a nap.... wait is that Jax I hear?

Tyler and Josh "ruining" all Jaden's hard work. She spent the next ten minutes freaking out. Her OCD came out in a big way. Then she spent the next hour adjusting everything. She still can't walk past it without stopping to fix something.

Jaden the Wonderful

This was Jaden's first home game to cheer at, for the basketball season this year. The cheerleaders are always so fun to watch.
Everyone asks me what the score of the game was and I can never tell them! I am to busy watching the cheerleaders and their stunts. It is exciting to watch what they have been working on, but I have to say a prayer every time my baby is plummeting to the earth. The girls also performed one of their dances and did an amazing job.

Whenever Jax is quiet you know he is doing something he shouldn't. I found him in the pantry today playing with all the sugar. He also opened the Coke bottle up and made a gooey mess. Josh and Hunter helped me clean him up. It's hard to get upset, all I can do is laugh. He was so proud of the creation that he made.

Thanksgiving 2009

It was so nice to have Thanksgiving with everyone together! We deceided to pick one location and get everyones families together in one place. It worked out so well, we weren't frantically hurrying to everyones house and then rushing out the door in a panic to get to the next family. It was relaxing the kids had fun getting together, playing and making crafts.

What am I grateful for.... Where do I begin?

I have an amazing loving husband. He is everything and more. He knows me better than I think I know myself. He is always the mellow one that calms my uptight neurotic soul. The sound of his voice, the look in his eyes and I know that everything is ok. He will make my coffee, give me a cold wash cloth when I am sick, do laundry and get the boat out even though he hates to. He has accepted my kids as his own and his main goal in life is to make them, us, me happy.

I have the most amazing kids. They are the light of my life. They surprise me on a daily basis.

Jaden or JJ for 'just Jaden' but there is nothing 'just' about her. She is the most intelligent girl that I know. She has high hopes and dreams and I know she will achieve all.

Josh is my sweet kid. He always holds the door open for ladies and will run up and take their garbage to the side of the road for them. If i forget to tuck him in at night he will come downstairs and tuck me in!

Jax what can I say, we call him monster! He is our family baby, poor kid has no hope! He is just a character, sweet, loves his blankies and bottle and loves his MAMA!

My brother and sister survived growing up with me, but they created that monster. I was the baby and Joni and Brett spoiled me more than my parents. Brett was always there to nurture my inner tomboy, Hunting ducks, pheasants, skinning squirrels, building lean-to's, and dissecting fish eyes. Joni was always there to clean me up when I got home. She struggled to teach me how to be a girl. She has and always will be my best friend. She is the one that I have always looked up to and will always strive to be like. And do I strive, falling just short.

My parents have made me the person I am today. I never truly appreciated them until recently, especially my mom. When I moved to Boise I realized how much she did for me and my kids, at least I thought I realized. It wasn't until I moved to Grace and had another baby that I truly realized how much she had done for me. She was always just a couple of miles away and I took that for granted. I will never be able to pay my parents back for everything that they have taught me, but I will forever be in their debt.

I also have the most amazing friends in the world, some close and some far. I do not always get to see my friends nearly as much as I would like. I have old friends that have stuck with me through the really crappy years of my life. They were always there to pick me up, wipe my tears, take me shopping and tell me the most famous phrase that would put a smile on my face, "BUY IT BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT, SISSY". I have new friends that are just as amazing and I cant wait for the years to come with them also.

I could go on and on, but the internet couldn't hold all my typing. All I can say it that God has blessed me in more ways than I deserve and I am truly in awe.

Jax is very independent, he likes to do everything himself(his personality reminds me a lot like Jaden's was at that age) he feeds himself, brushes his own teeth and puts his coat on....backwards.

Josh was not happy with me when I told him he was playing basketball again this year. Football is really his favorite sport, and hasn't been comfortable with basketball, until this year. This was the first game, they have had no practices but Josh was dribbling the ball up and down the court, shooting, passing, blocking it was great.

PBR/Las Vegas

PBR 2009
This year we went to the PBR in Las Vegas. What an amazing time we had. Like they say 'what happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas', isn't that right LD? We went to the bulls Friday, Saturday we spent relaxing, shopping, gambling of course, running through the casino, sharing lime wedges and cherries in the pool, singing on the tram, 'hot and ready's' at 1am and getting ready for the final day. Sunday was the final day and they put on a great show. I am truly blessed to the amazing friends that I have to share my life with.
