Grace vs Lighthouse

Game #2
We headed to Twin Falls to play Lighthouse Christian School

 Waiting for the coin toss
The ever cordial hand shakes

Favorite picture of the this game!
At this field the bleachers are 2 feet from the field and as much as I love to watch Josh play I don't love hearing the up close and personal helmet to helmet, pads crunching, groans and the wind getting knocked out of them when they are tackled.  Josh jumps up like no big deal, I would be carted out on a gurney!

Takes 4 guys to take Josh down and they are all twice his size.

Love watching my boy play!!

Grace vs North Gem

Last year Grace moved to 8 man football which is a little different to get use to. The boys all did an amazing job adapting to the switch and the team went to State.  I am so excited that I get to watch Josh play and hope they can get to State again this year.

I love watching Josh play football and the transition that he made from hiding behind the bushes so he wouldn't have to go to practice to being the first one asking his coach to go back in even though he is hurt. Maybe the bootcamp punishment I gave him helped;)
Josh is one of the smallest kids on the team. Though he is one of the smallest he is also one of the strongest and quickest. His positions are RB and LB. It is amazing to see Josh take on kids that are a foot taller then him and weigh twice as much without a single ounce of fear. For home games Josh is #2 and away games he is #12. Long story short, another player lost his home #12 jersey and we all know how boys are with THEIR numbers.

First game of the season we played North Gem at home and won!

I have learned this is his 3 point stance

The big kid trying to take down my boy...

Nice try, Josh is still on his feet and a little shove to the face for big kid trying...

I did not take my camera to the varsity game but Josh also played in that game and did amazing.  The next Monday at work everyone was talking about how impressed they were with Josh.

For the love of all things Craftie!

As always, I say I will be better about blogging about this or that.  Well here is another topic that I don't blog about that I should, Craft Club.  One day, I will post all the great crafts that we have done over time but don't hold your breath.  For now I am grateful I have gotten this one posted!  I was in charge of craft club for the month of Nov (I wasn't able to get my self motivated until the second week of Dec but at least I got it in!)

This is what I came up with, I had the girls bring their own frame and I supplied everything else.  Super easy and so stinking cute!

Up close

I think everyone has hung theirs on their front door.  We never use our front door and anyone that comes over comes in through the garage.  It was to cute to hang where no one would see it so I hung it in the  living room.

Accessorize! Accessorize! Accessorize!

Slowly over time my daycare lady has been cutting back the days that she will work.  Which in turn has cut my schedule back,  as of right now I am only working 1 1/2 days at the clinic. What do I with my extra time ACCESSORIZE, and help everyone else too.  I am an independent consultant for Paparazzi,  selling very cute, and very inexpensive jewelry and hair accessories.  Everything is $5.50 or less, yes I said $5.50!

I have never been big on the whole party plan thing.  First things first I am not a salesperson! I am not comfortable asking people to spend money on things, especially expensive things. That is one of the reasons I chose to do this.  Everything sells itself all I have to do is show up and set up.  It's fabulous!  Another reason, when I signed up there where only 700 people signed up in the US.  Considering a certain candle company has well over 100,000+ consultants, I felt this was a perfect time to jump in.  One thing that I can say is, my intuition was correct.  I have been doing very well and have more than compensated my nursing income.  The best part about it,  I can do this whenever I want.  Love that!

This is a small craft fair I did over the weekend.

Disney on Ice

We thought we hadn't gotten quite enough of Disney this year so we decided we better cram one more thing in, Disney on Ice!! When Jaden and Josh were little we went every year and I also remember going every year when I was little, also. I love having a 3 year old so I can continue going! Jaden and Josh don't mind either, they still love to go.
Josh and Grandma.  One day Josh will not pull a face every time
the camera comes out.
