Accessorize! Accessorize! Accessorize!

Slowly over time my daycare lady has been cutting back the days that she will work.  Which in turn has cut my schedule back,  as of right now I am only working 1 1/2 days at the clinic. What do I with my extra time ACCESSORIZE, and help everyone else too.  I am an independent consultant for Paparazzi,  selling very cute, and very inexpensive jewelry and hair accessories.  Everything is $5.50 or less, yes I said $5.50!

I have never been big on the whole party plan thing.  First things first I am not a salesperson! I am not comfortable asking people to spend money on things, especially expensive things. That is one of the reasons I chose to do this.  Everything sells itself all I have to do is show up and set up.  It's fabulous!  Another reason, when I signed up there where only 700 people signed up in the US.  Considering a certain candle company has well over 100,000+ consultants, I felt this was a perfect time to jump in.  One thing that I can say is, my intuition was correct.  I have been doing very well and have more than compensated my nursing income.  The best part about it,  I can do this whenever I want.  Love that!

This is a small craft fair I did over the weekend.

Disney on Ice

We thought we hadn't gotten quite enough of Disney this year so we decided we better cram one more thing in, Disney on Ice!! When Jaden and Josh were little we went every year and I also remember going every year when I was little, also. I love having a 3 year old so I can continue going! Jaden and Josh don't mind either, they still love to go.
Josh and Grandma.  One day Josh will not pull a face every time
the camera comes out.

Every year the kids have to have the snow cones in the light up cups.
A princess for J, a light up cup for Jax and Incredibles for Josh.

Josh was in charge of taking pictures and he took so many good ones I had to make a slide to fit them all in.

More Halloween

I am a room mom at Jax's preschool, for his halloween carnival we decorated pumpkins, made witch broom bags played pin the nose on the pumpkin, read halloween stories, sang songs, and had treats.
Jax is still getting use to preschool and this is usually where is  attached when I am in the room.

Josh always adds his own flare: no witches , just marshmallows with mohawks

Forget making the witches, Jax just ate the frosting

Jaden's the only one that can follow instruction

How cute!

Josh's halloween costume, freaks me out a little.

Goodbye for Now

Monday night we said our goodbyes to Kendal. It was a sad night at our house, for selfish reasons of course, because for 2 years we will only be able to share in Kendal's life through mail  I guess that will have to do for now.  ( Jaden and I are already scheming on what items we can smuggle to him in macaroni boxes!)
As we were visiting, we realized that upon Kendal's return Josh will be a junior in high school and Jax will almost be six! It just doesn't seem possible. We wish Kendal all the luck in the world and are prayers are with him to return home safely.

My four boys
Love these two

I will leave this post with one of my favorite pictures of Jaden and Kendal and will try to wait patiently for when I can take a few more of his cute face!

Kendal's Mission Farwell

We went to Kendal's mission farewell a couple weeks ago. Kendal will be going to the Tulsa, OK mission. I'm not quite sure what we are going to do without this young man in our house. He always seems to be here when we need him most.  Everything from helping me carry an anesthetized Sadie in from the truck after yet another mishap, to wrestling with the boys, to keeping up with J's over active brain power and mostly keeping a smile on her face.  His parents jokingly comment on how we need to just give him a bedroom and charge him rent since he is here so much. Kendal will do an amazing job and we will miss him.

Carving Pumpkins

There would be no Halloween without decorating pumpkins!

Jaden is usually my pumpkin painter.  This year she decided to carve one.

Chad helping Jax

Poor Kendal.  He has only carved pumpkins once in his life and he was 4 years old.

This was the only picture I got of Josh.  How he gets out of pictures all the time is beyond me!  Hs Pumpkin says Moose.  Well almost, he had to do his homework and he was only able to get the M carved.

Cutting away!

Since Chad helped Jax with his I had to decorate Chad's pumpkin,  a bat and mummy.

Jaden and Kendal's Perry the Platypus

I love the corn cob kickstands
Jax wanted Batman!
