To-Do List

About a year ago I posted my to-do list and have not accomplished much of it. This past week my dad came and helped me get started on the bar down stairs. We were able to get the cabinets and wine fridge in and the support wall built and anchored. I will post more as we get more done.

The Living Aquarium

Two weeks off for potato harvest can get really boring if you are not a farmer, or work for one. The kids were going stir crazy so we went to SLC. We went to the Living Aquarium, Boondocks and we stopped by Hatch Family Chocolates for some Spumoni and to meet the Little Chocolatiers...

The kids loved the sea urchin's beady eyes

Josh took a fabo pix of the octopus, with flash of course, and then found out you are not allowed to use flash on him because it can hurt him, oopsie. Post a sign people!!!

Jax would not touch the Sting Rays.

Josh's Friend B-day

We always end up having about 15 b-day parties for our kids, friend parties, when family can come up, when we go down, the actual date of the bday... My poor kids have no concept of when their birthday really is...

Josh went to Rock Haus, the Fun Park and then to the Factory for pizza and pool.

Josh Turns 12

Every year I look and Josh and think, 'My gosh, look how much he has grown'.
My pregnancy with Josh was awful, one problem after another. Delivery was not exactly what I had imagined. Dr Noorda made it in in enough time to catch him, much to my relief. But as I was trying to calm down and tell myself everything was going to be ok, our little Josh was here, I realized the nurses were telling Dr. Noorda that Josh was not breathing, he had no heart rate and that they were calling NICU to a code blue in MY room. Josh came into this world very quickly and was gone almost as quickly. He came fighting and faces all his battles head on with courage and grace, once achieved he is very humble. He really has grown, not just physically but in personality and maturity. He really is turning into a young man. I am so excited to see what he does and where he goes, but this has all gone entirely so fast...
