Jaden's LAST cheer banquet

I think I was purposely putting this post off. By putting it in print means it is actually true, right? I loved watching Jaden stunt, flying through the air and seeing the result of all her hard work, she makes me so proud. I was very sad when Jaden told me that she didn't want to cheer again. I understand her reasons, sniff, sniff.

Camp Lemhi

I love when Josh leaves his facebook logged on!! It is amazing the stuff I find. I scalped these photos off one of his friends pages.

This summer Josh went to Camp Lemhi for scouts. He never takes pictures so I was so happy to find these. He did not want to go at first but was so excited when he found out that Dallin Lloyd would be there. I was not very excited that he would be going when I found out that a young man had previously died there on a scout trip!
They spent a week there and participated in some fun activities. Alan Johnson(one of the leaders) is more of a kid himself. He always has great things planned. He had the boys create a Geo-cache (in the near future the boys will go pull it and see who else has been there)which they hiked to the top of the mountain and placed, swimming, boating. And he taught Josh his secret ingredient to dutch oven cobbler. He is a great guy.
I am so glad Josh went. He had a lot of fun and he is such a good kid. There are days when, as a parent, you worry what your kid acts like when you send them away, and you are not there to ensure their good behavior. I do not worry with Josh. Shortly after his return home I received a thank you card in the mail, from a leader I didn't even know. He was thanking me for Josh's outstanding behavior and his willingness to help the entire camp. Yea Josh! I am so proud.

You achieved all three goals! You are out of ICU, you are home and have had the best nights sleep that you have gotten in a very long time.

This is my favorite picture of Scott and Jaden. Only she could convince Scott to have his nails painted. I of course am so disorganized and can not find my favorite picture of Scott and Josh, so I will tell you what it is. Scott and Kathleen would bring red sand to the cabin for the kids to play in, this was Josh's favorite. I have a picture of Scott and Josh playing in the sand box together, priceless...

Parade and Fair 2010

The kids were a little sad this year when they found out that there would not be a Carnival. Someone here took matters into their own hands and had some people from Logan bring these slides, obstacle courses and bounce houses. The kids had a great time playing on them.

Chad actually let the kids take the Dura-max! Jordan in the back, Hadlee in the passenger seat, J in the middle and Kendal driving. I think Kendall may have pee'd his pants in excitment. Hopefully Sat they will not throw water balloons, there were a few injuries.

On the Hunt for some CARNI'S

Since the carni's called Grace's fair board and informed them that they had filed bankruptcy and they would not be coming, we had to find our own carni's. We went down to the Preston parade and fair. We had so much fun! Especially laughing at how the parade and little free candy brings out the worst in kids and parents:)

We had a great time at the concert! Of course I did not take my camera into the concert. Once I can snag some from Shannon or Misty I will post those. Thanks Louie and Bertha for the life saving pizza! So sorry you had to sit in the parking lot for an hour and we missed you! Next time let UB drive, he is an excellent driver!
